2004 Entry Policies |

The eMedia Screening is a national on-site screening activity to pre-screen instructional content and select preview programs for SatScreen, a satellite and tape-distributed service for evaluation at local education service agencies. The eMedia Screening will be held 24-26, 2004. Content Providers and Program Distributors who participate in the Screening and/or SatScreen 2004 must comply with all the stated policies in order to be eligible for entry, and must enter into an agreement with the National Advisory Committee at the time they submit content information and entry forms. (Entry forms must be submitted online by June 11, 2004.) |
Entry forms must be submitted online by June 11, 2004. The eMedia Screening will feature one combined screening category that may include: new content (series or programs) available for distribution during the 2005-2006 academic school year; new single programs or continuation series; series with varying lengths, limited rights or limited supplemental materials; or presenter choice entries. Participating Content Providers/Distributors receive a screening notebook listing and may purchase table space for display. Additional exhibit options and underwriting opportunities may be available |

SCHEDULES Entry fees for Content Presentations are calculated using a base rate plus a fee per entry: BASE RATE (for screening) = $1,800.00 per Presenter PLUS ENTRY FEES = 5 min. @ $250.00 per Entry ADDITIONAL FEES: Table space for display of publications and handouts is available for $100 per table (8’x 24” topped & skirted with 2 chairs). |

Participating Distributors MUST submit a deposit of $1,000 ($850 with a Notebook Only Entry) by June 11, 2004 - or - submit a purchase order for the total fee. After confirmation of entry acceptance, an invoice for the balance due will be initiated June 15, 2004. A $50.00 per program entry will be levied if eMedia Screening staff or SatScreen staff must make extensive corrections to online forms for publication. Payment in full must be received by July 16, 2004 or participation in the eMedia Screening will be denied. Participating Distributors must submit a signed Distributor Policy & Pricing (DPP) Form when submitting entries, With the exception of the Distributor Entry Form, all information submitted to the eMedia Screening and SatScreen 2004 will be posted to the Instructional Technology Marketplace website (www.itmonline.com) and will not be edited or altered in any way except for formatting. |
Proprietary information (such
as SatScreen satellite schedule information) will be password protected.
Presenters may withdraw all or part of their entry information by written
notification to the Screening coordinator. Presenters must also agree
that if any changes are made to the DPP, program lengths, titles, sequence
of programs or guide information, they will update the corresponding
online form in a timely manner. The National Advisory Committee will examine violations of the stated policies. Continual infractions will result in the risk of exclusion from the eMedia Screening and/or SatScreen. All screening entry forms must be entered online by 8pm Eastern June 11, 2004.
