This site was developed in early 1996 as a result of a Strategic Planning
Meeting (See Background) and was designed to provide a
"one-stop-shopping center" for both educational broadcasting agencies and
educational institutions with
extensive information about instructional technology products.
New product information is entered annually and updated by program producers and
distributors.
