Distributors must complete all entry
forms online on the Instructional Technology Marketplace Online (www.itmonline.com).
- Distributors participating in prior eMedia and FirstView should use
their current User ID and Password to access the Distributor Entry Form
Index.
- New Distributors should use the Comment link to request a User ID
and Password from HLS.
Distributor Online Entry Forms:
The Distributor Entry Form will be available June 1 and must be
submitted by June 30, 2005. The remainder of the online entry forms will
be available July 1 and must be submitted by July 30.
- Distributor Entry Form (DEntry)
- Distributor’s Policy & Pricing Form (DPP)
- Program/Series Information form (PSI)
- Presentation Information Page form (PIP)
- Internet/Digital Policy & Pricing form (IDPP)
With the exception of DEntry, all forms will be available
thereafter for updating. Links to tips on completing each form can be
found on the Online Entry Form Index:
Online Notebook(s)
Three (3) online notebooks will be created interactively using the
information submitted by distributors in their online entry forms.
Participating distributors must indicate on their DEntry form and PSI
forms whether each entry should be included in any or all Online
Notebooks. |

National Media Market & NAMTC Notebooks
Distributors registered for National Media Market 2005 and or NAMTC 2005
may specify whether an entry should also be included in either of those
notebooks. A link to these notebooks will be provided to NMM and NAMTC for
their websites. Each of these notebooks will include: Distributor Index;
Distributor Pages/Contact Info/and PSI entries; Presentation Pages
Online Preview Clips:
Distributors must specify on the Distributor Entry Form and on the PSI
form for each entry whether they agree to authorize streaming video
preview clips (2 minutes from first video) of each program for promotional
purposes and for online evaluation by local agencies. Streaming video
clips will be coded so that they may not be downloaded or copied.
Distributors should email Interactive Flash presentations directly to HLS
for inclusion in “Additional Previews”. |
Preview Eligibility:
Distributors must indicate on their Distributor Entry form and the PSI
form that each entry is eligible for extended previewing via the eMedia on
DVD. “Promos” or composite previews will not be accepted.
Preview Policies:
- All entries accepted for the eMedia DVD must include extended previewing
rights for local preview purposes only with the understanding that DVD’s
will be destroyed at the end of the preview period.
- Each entry will be digitally encoded and mounted onto a DVD for
previewing purposes.
- Each entry will be digitally encoded up to 15 minutes for placement on
the eMedia DVD.
- eMedia on DVD program previews will carry a “burned-in” disclaimer for
preview only through June 30, 2006, and be encoded so they can not be
duplicated.
- Distributors may request that DVD’s be provided to them for distribution
and/or submit addresses of agencies which should receive eMedia DVD’s from
NETA.
- Previewer’s will be notified that full preview programs can be obtained
by contacting individual distributors.

Preview Title Submission Guidelines:
- Preview titles must be submitted in one of the following formats:
- Beta SP (preferred)
- DVD
- Note: If neither of these can be obtained for submission please contact
Michelle Flamos prior to the submission deadline.
Preview titles that have been digitally encoded may be submitted with
prior approval. Please contact Michelle Flamos at 803.799.5517 (108) or
michelle@netaonline.org prior to the submission deadline.
Each preview title must be accompanied by an encoding form noting
specific in and out points for the extended preview. This Cue Sheet will
be posted in the Online Form Index as a PDF file and must be attached to
each entry upon submission for encoding
Preview titles must be submitted to the following address by August 1,
2005.

Distributing Partners Each Receive:
- 10 minutes of large room previewing.
- Booth space and one table in the vendor exhibit extravaganza.
- Uninhibited networking opportunities.
- Professional learning opportunities. Distributing partners are
encouraged to submit topics, act as presenters and fully participate in
sessions and industry discussions.
- One lunch and one reception ticket are included. For those
distributors with more than one representative in attendance, additional
tickets for these are available.
Large Room Previewing:
- Each presenting distributor will be given 10 minutes of large room
previewing to highlight their choice of product or services.
- It will be up to each presenting distributor to bring a DVD with a
maximum length of 10 minutes for viewing purposes. (NO other format will
be available.)
- Times for viewing will be scheduled based on alphabetical ordering.
Vendor Exhibit Extravaganza:
- Each presenting distributor will be given a standard table and
draping for that table.
- Additional tables and all electronic needs (electrical outlet etc.)
may be obtained via property management directly.
- Food & Beverage functions will be designed to increase interaction
among buyers and presenting distributors.
- Underwriting opportunities will be limited and obtained on a
first-come basis. These opportunities are limited to the following with
details on pricing forthcoming.
- 2 expanded breaks
- Annual scholarship
- Totebags for eMedia Market Showcase
- Print materials will not be compiled for this event. Rather we
encourage each presenting distributor to provide print material at their
booth to encourage interaction.

Professional Learning Opportunities
We feel that professional learning is key to increased usage of
educational content in today’s classroom and encourage presenting partners
to submit ideas, presentations, sessions, etc.
- A call for proposals will be disseminated and each presenting
partner will have the opportunity to submit proposals.
- The National Advisory Committee will review and make final decisions
on presentations.
Discounts
- Presenting partners will be given a $200 discount on if they chose
to participate in both the eMedia DVD and eMedia Market Showcase.
- Payment to receive the discounted rate must be obtained in full by
July 30.
NETA “Group Buy”
- A staffed work station will be provided so that potential buyers may
obtain on-site pricing for various products and services
- Those buyers already initiated into the system will have the ability
to lease product on the spot.
- NETA will continue to revise the structure of the NETA “group buy”
for greater inclusion of all buyers in the marketplace.
